Meritec has been working with Benefit Services in Local Government for almost 18 months to ensure we are ahead of the pack in providing advice, tools and guidance to assist client in preparing for the Audit Commission’s “harder test”.

We have helped approaching 50 councils to carry out detailed assessments against KLOE descriptors. Through our KLOE workshops our team of consultants have already helped almost 100 individual Councils get to grips with how the shift in emphasis from BFI inspections to the new approach will affect their service.

We feel the Audit Commission’s approach is rightly centered on quality service planning and operational effectiveness which ensures value for local authority customers.
